About Our Bankruptcy Fees

Hollywood Bankruptcy AttorneysAt Rosen & Rosen, our focus is on providing outstanding legal representation and personal service, NOT on how much money we can make on any given case. When you call our office, we will gladly make time to speak with you, either on the phone or in-person, to discuss your case, your financial situation, concerns, and objectives. We may even offer some initial opinions regarding how best to proceed with your case; all free of charge. Also, during this free, initial consultation, we will discuss what we feel will be a reasonable fee for the projected legal work involved and gladly do all that we can to accommodate you and your given situation.

We understand that if you are considering bankruptcy, it is because you are having financial difficulties.  We care for our clients’ well-being and will do all that we can to work with you on our fees.   Every case is different so, to be fair to our clients, we do not post the same flat rate fee online for everyone.  Some cases require less work than others and some more.  However, just so you have a rough idea of the potential range of fees, our fees in a chapter 7 case can range between $1,250 and $1,750, which does not includes the court’s initial filing fees or additional costs.  In a chapter 13 case, which requires far more work than a chapter 7, our fees are typically around $3,000, which also does not includes the court’s initial filing fees or additional costs.  However, in a chapter 13 case, you can start off by paying $1,000 upfront, plus the filing fee, and the rest can be paid out through the chapter 13 plan over several months.

Filing fees in a chapter 7 case are currently $306 and in a chapter 13 are $281. In a chapter 7 case only, if your income is less than 150% of the official poverty guidelines, we may request that the court waive the initial $306 filing fee. The filing fee cannot be waived in a chapter 13 case, but it can be paid in installments.

We are not your average bankruptcy firm. Rosen & Rosen is passionate in everything we do. We will do all that is necessary to see that our clients and their best interests are well served. If you or someone you know is considering bankruptcy, call or contact our bankruptcy attorneys today to discuss your specific case, how we can help, the options you might have and how we will only ask for a reasonable fee for our services. Let the bankruptcy lawyers at Rosen & Rosen, P.A. serve you!

We are a debt relief agency.  In addition to other legal services, we help clients file for bankruptcy relief under the Bankruptcy Code.
